1 Arlene and Savannagh, in the middle of Georgia Straight, happy as can be. We were going to go Snug Cove on Bowen Island for Savannagh's birthday, but Arlene had a couple of days off right at the same time, so possible change in plan. Let's see, short trip to somewhere familiar or a long trip to somewhere new. What to do, what to do ... easy call! Arlene would take the ferry over to the mainland as a walk-on, and we would "drive her back home" on First Edition.

3 Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands ahead.
4 Arlene making a funny face .. not sure why, as she claimed to be having the time of her life!
5 The dock at Vesuvius Bay, on Saltspring Island. Damned expensive place to tie up, given NO facilities whatsoever, but it was also walking distance to Arlene's house.
6 The amazing sunset mostly made up for the expensive moorage.
